Ο Άννα Α. Νοβοχάτκο σπούδασε Κλασική Φιλολογία στο Πανεπιστήμιο Λομονόσσωφ Μόσχας (Πτυχίο 2000) και έκανε μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στη Κλασική Φιλολογία στο Πανεπιστήμιο Λομονόσσωφ και Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Freiburg i. Br. (Dr. Phil. 2004). Έχει διδάξει Κλασική Φιλολογία στο Πανεπιστήμιο Λομονόσσωφ Μόσχας (2000–2006) και στο Πανεπιστήμιο Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Freiburg i. Br. (2008–2019). Από το 2020 είναι Αναπληρωτή Καθηγήτρια της Κλασικής Φιλολογίας στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης.

 

Στα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα ανήκουν η ιστορία και η ορολογία της αρχαίας φιλολογίας, η κριτική κειμένου και η αρχαία ελληνική κωμωδία. Στην υφηγεσία της «Η πρώτη φιλολογική στροφή: μελέτη κειμένου στην Αρχαϊκή και Κλασική Ελλάδα» (2018) εξετάζεται το φάσμα των προσεγγίσεων της προ-Αλεξανδρινής φιλολογίας. Επιπλέον, ασχολείται με γνωστικές και εννοιολογικές προσεγγίσεις στις αρχαίες θεωρίες της μεταφοράς και με μεθοδολογικές και πρακτικές εξελίξεις στον τομέα των Ψηφιακών Κλασικών. Είναι μέλος της επιστημονικής επιτροπής του περιοδικού Frammenti sulla Scena (online). Studi sul dramma antico frammentario (ISSN 2612-3908).

 

Έχει γράψει το βιβλίο The Invectives of Sallust and Cicero: critical edition with introduction, translation, and commentary, Berlin, De Gruyter 2009.
