Fyntikoglou Vassilis
Vassilis A. Fyntikoglou was born in Piraeus (1965) and studied Classics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (BA 1987, PhD 1996), where he is teaching as Assistant Professor of Latin Literature, Dept. of Classics (since Sept. 2006).
His research interests include Hellenistic and Augustan Poetry (especially the intertextual dialogue between them), Callimachus, epyllion, translation in Latin Literature, Roman prayer, and teaching of Classics.
He is the author of the books:
