Sotiroudis Panagiotis
Panagiotis Sotiroudis studied Classics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (B.A. 1974) and the University of Hamburg (Ph.D. 1986). In 1977 he was appointed Teaching Assistant at the Library of Classics of the School of Philosophy of AUTh, where he has been teaching ever since as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in Greek Paleography and Codicology (March 2009). His main research interests are: cataloguing of Greek manuscripts and critical edition of texts. He has taught courses on Demosthenes, Thucydides, and Lucian. He is one of the founding members of the Greek Paleographical Society and of the Society of Greek Recipients (Fellows) of the DAAD Scholarships.
