Copying facilities
We will not be able to provide any printing and copying services to our delegates. There are, however, many stores on Melenikou stress (across the Old Building) where you can print and reproduce your handouts. They operate in the following hours: Friday 9.00-21.00, Saturday 9.00-18.00, Sunday - closed.

Transportation
Local buses, taxis and car hire
Thessaloniki has a good public transportation system that can be used to travel throughout the city centre and beyond the city limits.
The cost of taxi is approximately 4-6 euros for short distances and appoximately 20 euros for a ride from the airport to the city centre. Useful telephone of taxi’s companies: 2310 866866, 2310 517417, 2310 214900.
Bus 78 runs from the airport to the city centre. Alternatively, one can also take number 79 to IKEA and change there to line 8 or 2 for downtown.

You can buy a bus fare from designated ticket houses or kiosks (periptero). The bus fare is 0.50 euro (valid for 70 minutes). You can also buy a ticket from an in-bus ticket machine (0.60 euro -- you must use have exact change).
You need to validate the ticket as soon as you enter the bus (slide it inside the orange machine located at the left or the right side of the bus door).
All major car rental companies have agencies at the Macedonia Airport. Cars can also be rented from the downtown agencies in Thessaloniki.
