Miltsios Nikolaos
Nikos Miltsios studied Classics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (B.A. 2003), from where he also received his M.A. (2005) and his PhD (2010). He has been a research associate at the Centre for Greek Language, Thessaloniki (2011-2016). Since 2017 he is Assistant Professor of Ancient Greek Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
His research is focused on ancient Greek historiography. He has written the following books: 1) The Shaping of Narrative in Polybius (Walter de Gruyter, 2013), 2) Από τον Αλέξανδρο στον Αρριανό: Θέματα και τεχνικές στην Ανάβαση (Gutenberg, 2020). He has published a series of articles on Herodotus, Thucydides, Polybius, Arrian and Appian and has co-edited (together with M. Tamiolaki) the following volume: Polybius and His Legacy (Walter de Gruyter, 2018).
